Helena
From the moment
Hugh D. Galusha hung his shingle outside the old Helena Power Building
back in 1919, Helena has played a vital role in making Galusha, Higgins
& Galusha the accounting firm we’ve become today. At the same time,
we like to think we’ve played some small role in helping Helena become
the economic center it is today.
Since its start
as a rough mining town, Helena has become the state’s capital and a
leading business center. In addition to being our home, Helena is home
to corporate headquarters for several communications, insurance, and
banking businesses. The city is also the hub of southwestern Montana’s
mining and metals processing industries. And it’s a trade center for
the region’s farm and ranch communities.
In addition to
offering traditional business and personal accounting services, GH&G
has responded to Helena’s economy by developing specialties in agriculture,
banking, and manufacturing, among other industries. A lot of things
have changed around Helena since 1919, but our commitment to its businesses
and individuals isn’t one of them.
